b00K 16 ~'ra 274 <br />MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL MEETING <br />OF <br />THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />FOR <br />THE COUNTY OF LEE, STATE OF NORTH CAROLINA <br />MONDAY, DECEMBER 11, 1995 <br />* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * <br />The special meeting of the Board of Commissioners for the County <br />of Lee, State of North Carolina, convened at 6:00 p.m. in the Gordon <br />A. Wicker Community Conference Room, Lee County Government Center, <br />106 Hillcrest Drive, Sanford, North Carolina. Commissioners, present <br />were Jimmie M. Cox; John R. Dossenbach, Jr.; F. Hubert Garner; Bertha <br />J L. Matthews and J. Douglas Moretz. Commissioner Robert T. Reives was <br />out-of-town on business and unable to attend. <br />Chairman Garner presided and the following business was <br />transacted: <br />County Attorney K. R. Hoyle delivered the invocation. <br />The Board considered a draft of the December 4, 1995, regular <br />meeting. Commissioner Dossenbach moved to approve the minutes as the <br />official record of said meeting. Commissioner Moretz seconded the <br />motion, and upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Dossenbach, Garner, Matthews and Moretz <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />Chairman Garner reminded the Board that due to holidays in <br />January, 1996, meetings will be held on Tuesday, January 2, 1996 at <br />9:00 a.m.; Monday, January 8, 1996 at 7:30 a.m.; and Tuesday, <br />January, 16, 1996 at 4:00 p.m. <br />The Board considered approval of the agenda. Commissioner <br />Dossenbach moved to approve the agenda as printed. Commissioner <br />Matthews seconded the motion, and upon a vote, the results were as <br />follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Dossenbach, Garner, Matthews and Moretz <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />The Board considered a grant application for the San-Lee Dam <br />Project.
