b00K 16 ~'ra 274 MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL MEETING OF THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS FOR THE COUNTY OF LEE, STATE OF NORTH CAROLINA MONDAY, DECEMBER 11, 1995 * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * The special meeting of the Board of Commissioners for the County of Lee, State of North Carolina, convened at 6:00 p.m. in the Gordon A. Wicker Community Conference Room, Lee County Government Center, 106 Hillcrest Drive, Sanford, North Carolina. Commissioners, present were Jimmie M. Cox; John R. Dossenbach, Jr.; F. Hubert Garner; Bertha J L. Matthews and J. Douglas Moretz. Commissioner Robert T. Reives was out-of-town on business and unable to attend. Chairman Garner presided and the following business was transacted: County Attorney K. R. Hoyle delivered the invocation. The Board considered a draft of the December 4, 1995, regular meeting. Commissioner Dossenbach moved to approve the minutes as the official record of said meeting. Commissioner Moretz seconded the motion, and upon a vote, the results were as follows: Aye: Cox, Dossenbach, Garner, Matthews and Moretz Nay: None The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. Chairman Garner reminded the Board that due to holidays in January, 1996, meetings will be held on Tuesday, January 2, 1996 at 9:00 a.m.; Monday, January 8, 1996 at 7:30 a.m.; and Tuesday, January, 16, 1996 at 4:00 p.m. The Board considered approval of the agenda. Commissioner Dossenbach moved to approve the agenda as printed. Commissioner Matthews seconded the motion, and upon a vote, the results were as follows: Aye: Cox, Dossenbach, Garner, Matthews and Moretz Nay: None The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. The Board considered a grant application for the San-Lee Dam Project. Recreation Director Jennifer Sipe told the Board she was GIt-I 1
