BOOK H PA','s 279 <br />The Board considered a request from Central Carolina Community <br />College to use funds on hand for completion of new classrooms/fitness <br />center on the Lee County Campus. Dr. Marvin Joyner was present and <br />ask the Board for their approval to use up to $135,000 from funds on <br />hand to assist in the completion of the second floor of the <br />classrooms/fitness center on the Lee County Campus. Commissioner <br />Matthews moved to approve the above request. Commissioner Reives <br />seconded the motion, and upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Dossenbach, Garner, Groce, Matthews, Moretz and <br />Reives <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />The Board considered Tax Releases <br />1995. Tax Administrator Nathan Crissman <br />Board. Commissioner Dossenbach moved to <br />Refunds for November, 1995 as presented. <br />the motion, and upon a vote, the results <br />Aye: Cox, Dossenbach, Garner, G <br />Reives <br />Nay: None <br />and Refunds for November, <br />answered questions of the <br />approve Tax Releases and <br />Commissioner Cox seconded <br />were as follows: <br />roce, Matthews, Moretz and <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />The Board considered bids for a sound system for the renovated <br />courtroom at the old courthouse. Public Works Director Kenny Cole <br />presented the following bids for consideration: <br />Creative Acoustics $ 6,576.00 <br />Raleigh, NC <br />Diversified Security No Bid <br />Raleigh, NC <br />Atlantic Audio No Bid <br />Raleigh, NC <br />After much discussion Commissioner Moretz moved to table the matter <br />until the next regular meeting and instructed Mr. Cole to contact <br />local vendors to see if they would be interested in bidding on the <br />project. Commissioner Cox seconded the motion, and upon a vote, the <br />results were as follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Dossenbach, Garner, Groce, Matthews, Moretz and <br />Reives <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />02 <br />2 <br />
