60ti~ 16 296 <br />Mr. Averett told the Boards' that Mr. Larry Allen was requesting to rezone from <br />Residential Agricultural District to Residential Restricted District 49.81 acres of land on <br />Minter School Road. <br />Mr. Ken Bright of 226 E. Trade Street, Sanford; Mr. Larry Allen of Route 11, Box <br />300B, Sanford; and Mr. Wayne Spivey of 805 Pendergrass Road, Sanford, spoke in <br />favor of the rezoning request. <br />Mr. Dewey Roberts of 6704 Sanders Road and Mr. Jimmy Matthews of 4925 Joe <br />Matthews Road, spokesman for the surrounding residents on Minter School Road, spoke <br />in opposition to the rezoning request. <br />Commissioner Reives moved to close the public hearings. Commissioner <br />Dossenbach seconded the motion, and upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Dossenbach, Garner, Groce, Matthews, Moretz and Reives <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />There being no further business to come before the Board Commissioner <br />Dossenbach moved to adjourn the meeting. Commissioner Reives seconded the motion, <br />and upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Dossenbach, Garner, Groce, Matthews, Moretz and Reives <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted and the meeting adjourned in <br />keeping with the motion. <br />CO <br />F.
