0 BOOK S 295 <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />The Board considered a maintenance agreement with Metro Telecom, Inc. <br />County Manager William Cowan told the Board this was a 12-month agreement to cover <br />maintenance for the telephone system for the Lee County Government Center. After <br />some discussion Commissioner Cox moved to approve the 12-month maintenance <br />agreement with Metro Telecom, Inc. Commissioner Reives seconded the motion, and <br />upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Dossenbach, Garner, Groce, Matthews, and Reives <br />Nay: Moretz <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted by a six to one vote. <br />Commissioner Dossenbach moved to recess the meeting till 7:00 p.m. <br />Commissioner Groce seconded the motion, and upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Dossenbach, Garner, Groce, Matthews, Moretz and Reives <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />Upon returning at 7:00 p.m. with all members present, the meeting resumed. <br />Commissioner Dossenbach moved to hold joint public hearings with the Planning <br />Board. Commissioner Matthews seconded the motion, and upon a vote, the results were <br />as follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Dossenbach, Garner, Groce, Matthews, Moretz and Reives <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />The Chairman invited Planning Board members to join the Commissioners for <br />public hearings scheduled for this date and time. <br />Planning Director Trevis Averett told the Boards' that Mr. Alex Autry was <br />requesting to rezone from Residential Agricultural District to Highway Commercial <br />District one (1) acre of land at 1805 Broadway Road. <br />Mr. Alex Autry of 1011 Broadway Road spoke in favor of the request. <br />No one spoke in opposition to the rezoning request. <br />05 <br />5 <br />
