After some <br />discussion Mrs. Lowry was instructed to take the matter before the Health Board and get <br />nominations for this team. No action was taken on matter. <br />The Board considered a new funding authorization for an Adult Care Home Case <br />Management program for the Department of Social Services. Social Services Director <br />Diane Lamb told the Board the General Assembly passed legislation making several <br />changes that affect domiciliary homes, now known as adult care homes. If approved, she <br />plans on using these funds to pay an already existing employee's salary and let them add <br />this service to their already existing caseload. After some discussion Commissioner <br />Dossenbach moved to approve the funding authorization as presented by Mrs. Lamb. <br />Commissioner Reives seconded the motion, and upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Dossenbach, Garner, Groce, Matthews, Moretz and Reives <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />The Board considered the donation of office equipment to the Lee-Harnett <br />Resource and Reporting Center. County Manager William Cowan told the Board IMB <br />Corporation had donated office equipment to the County at the value of $4,725.00. <br />Commissioner Reives moved to approve the donation of $4,725.00 of office equipment to <br />the Lee-Harnett Resource and Reporting Center. Commissioner Matthews seconded the <br />motion, and upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Dossenbach, Garner, Groce, Matthews, Moretz and Reives <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />The Board considered budget amendment # 01/16/96/13. Finance Director Lisa <br />Minter answered questions of the Board. Commissioner Reives moved to approve budget <br />amendment # OU16/96/13 as presented, a copy of which is attached to these minutes and by <br />this reference made a part hereof. Commissioner Cox seconded the motion, and upon a <br />vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Dossenbach, Garner, Groce, Matthews, Moretz and Reives <br />Nay: None <br />4 <br />
