noK 16 r,ct 321 <br />Section 2: <br />If any governmental department, agency, or authority funded wholly or in part by Lee <br />County shall have a compensation or salary plan that exceeds the compensation or salary plan adopted <br />by Lee County for the same grade, then such department, agency, or authority must include a <br />notification of such variance and a disclosure of its nature and extent in its request for funds from Lee <br />County. <br />Section 3• <br />If any governmental department, agency, or authority funded wholly or in part by Lee County <br />has a personnel plan which has benefits which exceed those extended under the Personnel Resolution <br />adopted for Lee County, then such department, agency, or authority must include a notification of such <br />variance and a disclosure of its nature and extent in its request for funds from Lee County. <br />Section 4: <br />Failure of any organization to comply with any of the foregoing provisions shall be <br />authority for the County Manager or Finance Officer to suspend payment of any County funds. <br />Commissioner Moretz seconded the motion. After some discussion Commissioner Matthews moved to <br />table the matter until the next work session for discussion. Commissioner Dossenbach seconded the <br />motion. At this time Commissioner Groce withdrew his original motion. After general discussion it <br />was decided to place this matter on the next work session agenda for discussion. <br />The Board considered a pre-application grant for the Victim Advocacy Project administered <br />through the Hispanic Task Force. Chairman Garner told the Board the grant was for $28,632 for the <br />first year and $29,440 for the second year. After some discussion Commissioner Moretz moved to table <br />the matter. Commissioner Cox seconded the motion, and upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Dossenbach, Garner, Groce, Matthews, Moretz and Reives <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />Commissioner Dossenbach moved to go into closed session to discuss the location of a new <br />industry in Lee County. Commissioner Cox seconded the motion, and upon a vote, the results were as <br />follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Dossenbach, Garner, Groce, Matthews, Moretz and Reives <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously and the Board was in closed <br />session. Following the Board's discussion in closed session, Commissioner Matthews moved to go out <br />of closed session. Commissioner Dossenbach seconded the motion, and upon a vote, the results were as <br />follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Dossenbach, Garner, Matthews, Moretz and Reives <br />Nay: None <br />016 <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />
