015 <br />noK 16 <br />Section 1. The Deed in the form submitted to this meeting, is hereby approved and <br />the Chairman or Vice-Chairman is hereby authorized and directed to execute and deliver, and the <br />County Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to attest and acknowledge, the Deed substantially in <br />such form and with such necessary and appropriate variations, omissions, and insertions as may be <br />approved by the Chairman or Vice-Chairman.. <br />Section 2. The Bill of Sale in the form submitted to this meeting, is hereby approved <br />and the Chairman or Vice-Chairman is hereby authorized and directed to execute and deliver, and the <br />County Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to attest and acknowledge, the Bill of Sale substantially <br />in such form and with such necessary and appropriate variations, omissions, and insertions as may be <br />approved by the Chairman or Vice-Chairman. <br />Section 3. The Chairman or Vice-chairman, and County Clerk are hereby authorized <br />and directed to execute and deliver for and on behalf of the County any and all other papers and <br />documents and to perform any and all acts they may deem necessary or appropriate in order to carry out <br />the intent of this resolution and the matters herein authorized. <br />Commissioner Cox seconded the motion, and upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Dossenbach, Garner, Groce , Matthews and Moretz <br />Nay: Reives <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted by a six to one vote. <br />The Board considered the transfer of sick leave and years of service for Information Systems <br />Manager Lesa Price. County Manager William Cowan told the Board Personnel Officer Patsy Rogers <br />had received notification from Harnett County that Information Systems Manager Lesa Price had <br />658.54 hours of sick leave upon her resignation and a total of eleven (11) years of service. He requested <br />that Mrs. Price be given credit for her years of Harnett County Service. Commissioner Reives moved to <br />approve the transfer of 658.54 hours of sick leave and eleven years of service from Harnett County for <br />Information Systems Manager Lesa Price. Commissioner Cox seconded the motion, and upon a vote, <br />the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Dossenbach, Garner, Groce, Matthews, Moretz and Reives <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />Commissioner Groce moved the adoption of the following resolution: <br />BE IT RESOLVED by the Lee County Board of Commissioners that: <br />Section 1: <br />If any person, association, organization, public or private including, but not limited to, any <br />governmental department, agency, or authority funded wholly or in part by Lee County shall, as a <br />condition precedent to the receipt of such funds, agree to submit at any time such proof including, but <br />not limited to, a copy of an independent audit performed for the fiscal year in which the funds are <br />received, as may be requested by the Board of Commissioners or the County Manager to show <br />compliance with the terms of the County's grant or appropriation, any County resolution or ordinance, <br />or any law, state or federal. <br />
