015 noK 16 Section 1. The Deed in the form submitted to this meeting, is hereby approved and the Chairman or Vice-Chairman is hereby authorized and directed to execute and deliver, and the County Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to attest and acknowledge, the Deed substantially in such form and with such necessary and appropriate variations, omissions, and insertions as may be approved by the Chairman or Vice-Chairman.. Section 2. The Bill of Sale in the form submitted to this meeting, is hereby approved and the Chairman or Vice-Chairman is hereby authorized and directed to execute and deliver, and the County Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to attest and acknowledge, the Bill of Sale substantially in such form and with such necessary and appropriate variations, omissions, and insertions as may be approved by the Chairman or Vice-Chairman. Section 3. The Chairman or Vice-chairman, and County Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to execute and deliver for and on behalf of the County any and all other papers and documents and to perform any and all acts they may deem necessary or appropriate in order to carry out the intent of this resolution and the matters herein authorized. Commissioner Cox seconded the motion, and upon a vote, the results were as follows: Aye: Cox, Dossenbach, Garner, Groce , Matthews and Moretz Nay: Reives The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted by a six to one vote. The Board considered the transfer of sick leave and years of service for Information Systems Manager Lesa Price. County Manager William Cowan told the Board Personnel Officer Patsy Rogers had received notification from Harnett County that Information Systems Manager Lesa Price had 658.54 hours of sick leave upon her resignation and a total of eleven (11) years of service. He requested that Mrs. Price be given credit for her years of Harnett County Service. Commissioner Reives moved to approve the transfer of 658.54 hours of sick leave and eleven years of service from Harnett County for Information Systems Manager Lesa Price. Commissioner Cox seconded the motion, and upon a vote, the results were as follows: Aye: Cox, Dossenbach, Garner, Groce, Matthews, Moretz and Reives Nay: None The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. Commissioner Groce moved the adoption of the following resolution: BE IT RESOLVED by the Lee County Board of Commissioners that: Section 1: If any person, association, organization, public or private including, but not limited to, any governmental department, agency, or authority funded wholly or in part by Lee County shall, as a condition precedent to the receipt of such funds, agree to submit at any time such proof including, but not limited to, a copy of an independent audit performed for the fiscal year in which the funds are received, as may be requested by the Board of Commissioners or the County Manager to show compliance with the terms of the County's grant or appropriation, any County resolution or ordinance, or any law, state or federal.
