AP 0 0 9 <br />The Board considered appointments to the Child Fatality Prevention Team. <br />Health Director Phyllis Lowry presented the names of Rick Dawkins, Clark Kershner <br />and Ricky Poole for consideration to this Team. Commissioner Dossenbach moved <br />the above individuals be appointed to the Child Fatality Prevention Team. <br />Commissioner Cox seconded the motion, and upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Dossenbach, Garner, Groce, Matthews, Moretz and Reives <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />The Board considered a budget amendment and contract between the State <br />and the Lee County Health Department for the Rural OB Care Incentive Program. <br />Health Director Phyllis Lowry asked the Board to consider this budget amendment <br />and contract in the amount of $20,097 for Rural Obstetrical Care Incentive Funds <br />from the Department of Environment, Health and Natural Resources. These funds are <br />utilized to secure physician coverage for mid-level practitioners. She told the Board <br />this is a re-occurring contract and is paid to . Drs. White, Kesler and Jones. <br />Commissioner Dossenbach moved to approve the budget amendment in the amount of <br />$20,097 and contract between the State and the Lee County Health Department for <br />the Rural OB Care Incentive Program.
