Following the Board's discussion in closed session, <br />Commissioner Reives moved to go out of closed session. Commissioner Dossenbach <br />seconded the motion, and upon a vote, the results were as follows, <br />Aye: Cox, Dossenbach, Garner, Groce, Matthews, Moretz and Reives <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously and the meeting <br />recessed till 6:50 p.m. <br />Upon returning at 6:50 p.m., with all members present, the meeting resumed. <br />Commissioner Dossenbach moved to suspend the rules of procedure to add <br />another item to the agenda for consideration. Commissioner Matthews seconded the <br />motion, and upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Dossenbach, Garner, Groce, Matthews, Moretz and Reives <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />County Attorney K. R. Hoyle submitted for consideration the following bids <br />which had been received for repair of the ceiling at the Lee County jail: <br />Bonitz Contracting $ 213,991.00 <br />Charlotte, NC <br />Sam Wood & Associates $ 262,500.00 <br />Raleigh, NC <br />Commissioner Reives moved to approve the low bid of $213,991.00 from Bonitz <br />Contracting, Charlotte, NC, for repair of the ceiling at the Lee County jail. <br />Commissioner Matthews seconded the motion, and upon a vote, the results were as <br />follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Dossenbach, Garner, Groce, Matthews, Moretz and Reives <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />15 <br />
