That Commissioner Jack Dossenbach, Jr., a member <br />of the Lee County Social Services Board, be authorized to present a copy of this <br />resolution to Mr. Parker for and on behalf of the Board of Commissioners. <br />Commissioner Cox seconded the motion, and upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Dossenbach, Garner, Groce, Matthews, Moretz and Reives <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />At this time Commissioner Dossenbach read the resolution aloud and presented it to Mr. <br />Parker. <br />The Board considered a resolution adopting Lee County's Capital Improvements <br />Program (CIP) for FY 1996/97 - 2000/2001. County Manager William Cowan went over <br />his recommendations for the CIP and answered questions. Commissioner Matthews <br />expressed concerns that the Agribusiness Center was listed as a priority four on the list. <br />After much discussion Commissioner Matthews moved the Agribusiness Center be <br />moved from a priority four to a priority three on the Lee County's Capital <br />Improvements Program for FY 1996/97 - 2000/2001. Commissioner Moretz seconded <br />the motion, and upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Dossenbach, Garner, Groce, Matthews, Moretz and Reives <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />After further discussion, Commissioner Reives moved to approve the following: <br />BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Commissioners for Lee County that the <br />document entitled "Lee County, North Carolina Capital Improvements Program, Fiscal <br />Year 1996/97 - 2000/2001" which consists of a one page Introduction, a one page <br />Project Classification System, a three page Summary Index, and a seventy-one page <br />Capital Improvements Program is hereby approved and adopted as the official Capital <br />Improvements Program for Lee County for the period from July 1, 1996 until June 30, <br />2000. <br />Commissioner Groce seconded the motion, and upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Dossenbach, Garner, Groce, Matthews, Moretz and Reives <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />03 <br />3 <br />
