noK 16 pr 373 <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />The Board considered budget amendment # 04/15/96/21 for the fuel dispensing <br />system to be built at the Public Works facility. County Manager William Cowan told <br />the Board, if approved, funds for this project would come from the fund balance. <br />After some discussion Commissioner Groce moved to approve budget amendment # <br />04/15/9621, a copy of which is attached to these minutes and by this reference made a <br />part hereof. Commissioner Moretz seconded the motion, and upon a vote, the results <br />were as follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Dossenbach, Garner, Groce, Matthews and Moretz <br />Nay: Reives <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted by a six to one vote. <br />The Board considered an agreement for services between the County of Lee <br />and Environmental Technologies, L.P. to acquire the water and wastewater operations <br />of Seacor Services, Inc. County Attorney K. R. Hoyle explained the agreement to the <br />Board and answered questions. Commissioner Groce moved to approve the agreement <br />as presented between the County of Lee and Environmental Technologies, L.P. <br />Commissioner Moretz seconded the motion, and upon a vote, the results were as <br />follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Dossenbach, Garner, Groce, Matthews, Moretz and Reives <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />The Board considered hospitalization insurance coverage for retired employees. <br />County Manager William Cowan answered questions of the Board. After some <br />discussion Commissioner Cox moved to approve hospital insurance coverage for <br />retired employees. Commissioner Reives seconded the motion, and upon a vote, the <br />results were as follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Dossenbach, Garner, Matthews, Moretz and Reives <br />Nay: Groce <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted by a six to one vote. <br />After further discussion of this matter, Commissioner Reives moved to add to the <br />policy a provision that requires retirees with this retirement benefit to report any other <br />health coverage they have to the County with failure to do so resulting in termination of <br />this benefit. Commissioner Cox seconded the motion, and upon a vote, the results <br />were as follows: <br />00G <br />6 <br />
