roof, 16 368 0 MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING OF THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS FOR THE COUNTY OF LEE, STATE OF NORTH CAROLINA J MONDAY, APRIL 15,1996 The regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners for the County of Lee, State of North Carolina, convened at 4:00 p.m. in the Commissioners Room, Lee County Government Center, 106 Hillcrest Drive, Sanford, North Carolina. Commissioners' present were Jimmie M. Cox; John R. Dossenbach, Jr., F. Hubert Garner; Van R. Groce; Bertha L. Matthews; J. Douglas Moretz and Robert T. Reives. Chairman Garner presided and the following business wa's:transacted. County Attorney K. R. Hoyle delivered the invocation. The Board considered approval of the draft of the minutes of the April I, 1996 regular meeting. Commissioner Groce moved to approve the minutes as the official record of said meeting. Commissioner Dossenbach seconded the motion, and upon a vote, the results were as follows: Aye: Cox, Dossenbach, Garner, Groce, Matthews, Moretz and Reives Nay: None The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. The Board considered approval of the agenda. Chairman Garner asked the Board to consider a letter of endorsement from the Lee County Board of Education for the Smart Start program and to allow representatives from the Sanford-Lee County Regional Airport Authority to give a brief update on the new airport. Commissioner Matthews moved to approve the agenda as printed, with the above additions. Commissioner Groce seconded the motion, and upon a vote, the results were as follows: Aye: Cox, Dossenbach, Garner, Groce, Matthews, Moretz and Reives Nay: None The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. The Board considered a resolution designating the week of April 2l - 27, 1996 as Infant Immunization Week in Lee County. Health Director Phyllis Lowry told the nr,y. 1
