Corti U 44 0027 <br />The Board considered bids for EMS medical supplies. Emergency Services <br />Director Warren Lee presented the following bids for supplies for Lee County EMS for <br />the 1996/97 budget year: <br />Emergi-Source, Inc. Low bid on 23 items <br />Lexington, NC <br />Moore Medical Corp. Low bid on 23 items <br />New Britain, Conn. <br />Southeastern Emergency Low bid on 57 items <br />Youngsville, NC <br />Commissioner Matthews moved to approve contract for each item be awarded to the <br />lowest bidder as presented. Commissioner Cox seconded the motion, and upon a vote, <br />the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Dossenbach, Garner, Groce, Matthews, Moretz and Reives <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />The Board considered an application for the Federal Runaway and Homeless <br />Youth Program. Youth Services Director Randell Woodruff presented for the Board's <br />consideration an application for funding under the Federal Runaway and Homeless Youth <br />Program. Youth Services provides services to runaway/homeless youth and their families. <br />Commissioner Matthews moved to approve the application for Federal Runaway and <br />Homeless Youth Program as presented. Commissioner Dossenbach seconded the motion, <br />and upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Dossenbach, Garner, Croce, Matthews, Moretz and Reives <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />The Board considered budget amendments 06/24/96/27 and 06/24/96/28. <br />Commissioner Cox moved to approve the above budget amendments as presented, copies <br />of which are attached to these minutes and by this reference made a part hereof. <br />Commissioner Reives seconded the motion, and upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Dossenbach, Garner, Groce, Matthews, Moretz and Reives <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />9 <br />
