eu 16 ~,st 441® 0,024 <br />The Board considered renewal bids for a maintenance contract for the Enrichment <br />Center. Senior Services Director Pam Adams presented the following bids to the Board <br />for consideration: <br />Reid's Maintenance $1,933/month for 36 months <br />Mr. Clean Janitorial $2,975/month for 36 months <br />Commissioner Matthews moved to award the renewal maintenance contract for the <br />Enrichment Center to Reid's Maintenance at $1,933 per month for 36 months. <br />Commissioner Cox seconded the motion, and upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Dossenbach, Garner, Groce, Matthews, Moretz and Reives <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />The Board considered amendments to policy and procedures for Senior Services. <br />Senior Services Director Pam Adams asked the Board to consider a facility mission <br />statement indicating the type of participant the Center exists to serve. Members of the <br />Senior Services Advisory Board helped write an amendment to the policies and <br />procedures which will help deal with problems that might arise in the future. <br />Commissioner Dossenbach moved to approve the amendments to policy and procedures <br />for Senior Services as presented. Commissioner Moretz seconded the motion, and upon a <br />vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Dossenbach, Garner, Groce, Matthews, Moretz and Reives <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />/ The Board considered a Home and Community Care Block Grant for Older <br />Adults. Debbie Davidson from Senior Services asked the Board to approve the Home and <br />Community Care Block Grant package which will be in effect from July 1, 1996 through <br />June 30, 1997. This plan is a coordinated means to utilize community-based resources in <br />the delivery of comprehensive aging services to older adults and their families. <br />Commissioner Reives moved to approve the Home and Community Care Block Grant for <br />Older Adults. Commissioner Matthews seconded the motion, and upon a vote, the results <br />were as follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Dossenbach, Garner, Groce, Matthews, Moretz and Reives <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />6 <br />
