Chairman Garner moved approval of a petition and the following resolution <br />to request the North Carolina Department of Transportation to add Bob White Lane in <br />Quail Ridge Section I Subdivision to the State Maintained Secondary Road System. <br />NORTH CAROLINA STATE DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION <br />REQUEST FOR ADDITION TO STATE MAINTAINED <br />SECONDARY ROAD SYSTEM <br />WHEREAS, a petition has been filed with the Board of County Commissioners of <br />the County of Lee requesting that the above described road (Bob White Lane in Quail <br />Ridge Section I Subdivision) be added to the Secondary Road System; and <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners is of the opinion that the above <br />described road should be added to the Secondary Road System, if the road meets <br />minimum standards and criteria established by the Division of Highways of the <br />Department of Transportation for the addition of roads to the System. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the Board of County Commissioners of <br />the County of Lee that the Division of Highways is hereby requested to review the above <br />described road, and to take over the road for maintenance if it meets established standards <br />and criteria. <br />Commissioner Cox seconded the motion, and upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Dossenbach, Garner, Groce, Matthews, Moretz and Reives <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />The Board considered an Occupational Health Services Agreement with Central <br />Carolina Hospital to administer the drug and alcohol testing for Lee County employees. <br />County Attorney K. R. Hoyle presented the agreement and answered questions of the <br />Board. Commissioner Moretz moved to approve the Occupational Health Services <br />Agreement with Central Carolina Hospital as presented.
