soon; 16 448 <br />The Board considered an EMS Central Station Capital Project Budget Ordinance. <br />Finance Director Lisa Minter told the Board this Ordinance must be put in place so the <br />design of the building can begin. Commissioner Moretz moved to approve the EMS <br />Central Station Capital Project Budget Ordinance, a copy of which is attached to these <br />minutes and by this reference made a part hereof. Commissioner Matthews seconded the <br />motion, and upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Dossenbach, Garner, Groce, Matthews, Moretz and Reives <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />The Board considered the transfer of a mobile van to the Lee County Schools. <br />County Manager William Cowan told the Board the Lee County Schools had requested <br />the transfer of the mobile van from the County to them. They are requesting a two-year <br />opportunity to use the van, and at the end of that time if it has not been widely used they <br />will return it to the County. The County would still be able to schedule and use the van as <br />needed during this two-year period. After some discussion Commissioner Moretz moved <br />to approve the transfer of the mobile van to the Lee County Schools. Commissioner Cox <br />seconded the motion, and upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Dossenbach, Garner, Groce, Matthews and Moretz <br />Nay: Reives <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been approved by a six to one vote. <br />The Board considered a contract for legal services for the Child Support <br />Enforcement Program in the Department of Social Services. County Attorney K. R. <br />Hoyle submitted the following bids for consideration: <br />ATTORNEY <br />Jim Love, Jr. <br />Steve Watkins <br />Trial Time <br />$ 75.00/hour <br />$ 85.00/hour <br />In-Court Waiting Time <br />75.00/hour <br />40.00/hour <br />Out-of-Court Time <br />75.00/hour <br />50.00/hour <br />Mr. Hoyle told the Board most of the services rendered are out-of-court time. After some <br />discussion Commissioner Moretz moved to approve Attorney Jim Love, Jr. for legal <br />services for the Child Support Enforcement Program. Commissioner Groce seconded the <br />motion, and upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Groce, Matthews, Moretz and Reives <br />Nay: Cox, Dossenbach and Garner <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted by a four to three vote. <br />0028 <br />10 <br />
