0012 <br />Boon 16 rrf 522 <br />The Board considered a renewal contract with San-Lee Humane Society, Inc. <br />County Attorney K. R. Hoyle asked the Board to renew this contract. After some <br />discussion Commissioner Dossenbach moved to approve the renewal contract with San- <br />Lee Humane Society, Inc. Commissioner Groce seconded the motion, and upon a vote, <br />the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Dossenbach, Garner, Groce, Matthews, Moretz and Reives <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />The Board considered surplus property owned by Lee County. County Manager <br />William Cowan had compiled a list of property owned by Lee County which consisted of <br />134 partially or wholly owned parcels. After some discussion Chairman Garner asked the <br />Board to look over the information supplied and hold for discussion at the next work <br />session. No action was taken on the matter. <br />Commissioner Dossenbach moved that Commissioner Elect Ervin Mansfield be <br />allowed to attend all closed sessions held by the Board in the future. Commissioner <br />Reives seconded the motion, and upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Dossenbach, Garner, Groce, Matthews, Moretz and Reives <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />Commissioner Dossenbach moved to go into closed session to discussion the <br />following: <br />- to discuss matters relating to the location or expansion of industries or <br />other business in Lee County, <br />- to give instructions to the Attorney in the handling of an administrative <br />procedure <br />- to give instructions to the Attorney in the handling of a claim <br />Commissioner Reives seconded the motion, and upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Dossenbach, Garner, Groce, Matthews, Moretz and Reives <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously and the Board was <br />in closed session. Following the Board's discussion in closed session, Commissioner <br />Dossenbach moved to go out of closed session. Commissioner Moretz seconded the <br />motion, and upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />9 <br />
