Commissioners' <br />present were Jimmie M. Cox; John R. Dossenbach, Jr.; F. Hubert Garner; Van R. Groce; <br />Bertha L. Matthews; J. Douglas Moretz and Robert T. Reives. <br />Chairman Garner presided and the following business was transacted: <br />Reverend David Early, Associate Pastor of First Baptist Church delivered the <br />invocation. <br />The Board considered approval of the draft of the minutes' of the December 4, <br />1995 closed session; June 18, 1996 Ad Hoc Sub Committee Animal Control Ordinance <br />minutes; June 18, 1996 Ad Hoc Sub Committee Zoning & Planning Ordinances minutes; <br />June 20, 1996 Ad Hoc Sub Committee Zoning and Planning Ordinances minutes; June 24, <br />1996 Budget Work Session minutes and June 24, 1996 regular meeting minutes. <br />Commissioner Dossenbach moved to approve the minutes' as the official record of said <br />meetings. Commissioner Cox seconded the motion, and upon a vote, the results were as <br />follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Dossenbach, Garner, Groce, Matthews, Moretz and Reives <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />Chairman Garner presented a resolution to Mr. Larry Torrence, Director of <br />Marketing for Carolina Trace, in honor of Carolina Trace being selected two years in a <br />row as one of "The 20 Best Retirement Communities in America". <br />The Board considered appointments to the Americans With Disabilities Act <br />Committee (ADA). Commissioner Moretz nominated Charles Hundnall and Sandra <br />Patterson; Commissioner Matthews nominated Sara Curry and Commissioner Groce <br />nominated Warren Lee. Commissioner Moretz moved to close nominations and appoint <br />the above individuals to the ADA Committee. Commissioner Groce seconded the motion, <br />and upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />
