0 tYa S crf= 593 0010 <br />Aye: Cox, Dossenbach, Garner, Groce, Matthews, Moretz and Reives <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />A report from the Planning Department and Planning Board on proposed <br />amendments to the County's Zoning and Subdivision Ordinances was rescheduled to the <br />next work session on September 9, 1996 by Chairman Garner <br />The Board considered the sale of surplus property owned by Lee County. County <br />Attorney K. R. Hoyle went over with the Board some of the parcels owned by Lee <br />County: <br />1) Parcels 9641-63-3305-00 (Beulah Brown Road) and <br />9641-62-3897-00 (Ivey Drive) which were acquired to provide <br />areas for septic tanks and drain fields in connection with the <br />Beulah Brown Road CDBG Project. <br />2) Parcel 9642-48-2730-00 (Carbonton Road) is a part of the <br />parking lot for the Government Center and the Mental Health <br />facility. <br />3) Parcels 9643-31-2313-00 (N. Vance Street), 9643-21-9053-00 <br />(Walnut Drive), and another parcel 9643-20-7818-00 (Maplewood <br />Drive) were conveyed to the County in 1985 by McIver Park, Inc. <br />After some discussion Commissioner Cox moved to leave the property stated <br />above as they currently are. Commissioner Groce seconded the motion, and upon a vote, <br />the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Dossenbach, Garner, Groce and Matthews <br />Nay: Moretz and Reives <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted by a five to two vote. <br />4) Parcel 9645-77-2080-00 (Womack Road) which is a 20 x 40 foot <br />parcel on the south side of Womack Road in the Industrial Park <br />on which a sign is maintained. <br />Commissioner Moretz moved to leave the above property as is. Commissioner <br />Reives seconded the motion, and upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Dossenbach, Garner, Groce, Matthews, Moretz and Reives <br />8 <br />
