0014 <br />0 606F, 16 irc 598 <br />Planner Glen Moore told the Boards' Wendell Johnson was requesting to rezone <br />from Highway Commercial Conditional Use District to Light Industrial Conditional Use <br />District 23.82 acres of land located at 4127 Jefferson Davis Highway. <br />Wendell Johnson of 7120 Center Church Road was sworn in and spoke for the <br />rezoning request. <br />No one spoke against the rezoning request. <br />Mr. Moore told the Boards' Sandra Koon Plyer was requesting to rezone from <br />Residential Mixed District to Highway Commercial District 1.04 acres of land at 6416 <br />Pine Forest Road. <br />Sandra Koon Plyer of 7705 Christine Lane spoke in favor of the rezoning request. <br />No one spoke in opposition to the rezoning request. <br />Mr. Moore told the Boards' Mr. Danny Thomas was requesting to rezone from <br />Residential Agricultural District to Highway Commercial District a one acre portion of <br />land located at 7215 Center Church Road. <br />No one spoke in favor of the rezoning request. <br />The following spoke in opposition: Linda Dangerfield of 7230 Center Church <br />Road and Libby Deal of 7219 Center Church Road. <br />Commissioner Dossenbach moved to close the public hearings with members of <br />the Planning Board. Commissioner Matthews seconded the motion, and upon a vote, the <br />results were as follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Dossenbach, Gamer, Groce, Matthews, Moretz and Reives <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />At this time the Board of Commissioners held public hearings on an ordinance <br />imposing a monthly E911 charge, proposed Lee County Animal Control Ordinance and <br />the sale of malt beverages in Lee County. <br />No one spoke for or against an ordinance imposing a monthly E911 charge of <br />$1.00 upon each exchange access facility subscribed to by telephone subscribers in Lee <br />County, North Carolina. <br />The following individuals spoke for an animal control ordinance in Lee County: <br />12 <br />
