0002 <br />Book 16 Pace 616 <br />Aye: Cox, Garner, Groce, Matthews and Reives <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />The Board considered a legal contract for Child Support Services with the <br />Department of Social Services. After some discussion Commissioner Groce moved to <br />table the matter until Commissioners Dossenbach and Moretz and a representative from <br />Social Services could be present for discussion. Commissioner Matthews seconded the <br />motion, and upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Garner, Groce, Matthews and Reives <br />Nay: Cox <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted by a four to one vote. <br />The Board discussed recommendations concerning proposed amendments to the <br />County's Zoning Ordinance and Subdivision Ordinance. Board members discussed <br />various matters concerning these amendments and instructed Planning Director Trevis <br />Averett to work these changes into the proposed amendments. <br />Commissioner Moretz joined the meeting during this discussion. No action was <br />taken on the matter after further discussion. <br />The Board discussed proposals for professional services pertaining to addressing <br />and mapping of the County for the purposes of implication of Enhanced 911. County <br />Manager William Cowan discussed with the Board three (3) responsive proposals <br />received on August 1, 1996 from Aerial Images, American Geographic Data and L. <br />Robert Kimball. No action was taken on the matter. <br />The Board discussed a business personal property audit proposal. Tax <br />Administrator Roger Kelley told the Board he had received a proposal from Tax <br />Management Associates, Inc. (TMA) for the business personal property audit services. <br />Mr. Roger Ellis, a representative from TMA was present and discussed his proposal with <br />the Board and answered questions. After some discussion Commissioner Moretz <br />recommended Lee County enter into an agreement with the City of Sanford to share <br />expenses at a 30% charge or less with TMA. No action was taken on the matter. <br />At 9:30 a.m. Commissioner Moretz moved to extend the meeting an additional ten <br />minutes.
