After some discussion Commissioner Moretz moved to approve an intergovernmental agreement for business personal property services with the City of Sanford. Commissioner Groce seconded the motion, and upon a vote, the results were as follows: Aye: Cox, Dossenbach, Garner, Groce, Matthews, Moretz and Reives Nay: None The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. The Board considered the purchase of three personal computers and one laser printer for the Department of Social Services. Social Services Diane Lamb told the Board $10,915.00 had been budgeted in her FY 1996/97 budget for these items. Bids had been received from the following: Research Triangle Office Systems, Inc. Raleigh, NC Office Logic Raleigh, NC Back-Up Systems Sanford, NC Commissioner Moretz moved to approve the purchase of one laser printer and three personal computers from Research Triangle Office Systems, Inc., Raleigh, North Carolina, at a cost of $8,091.00. Commissioner Reives seconded the motion, and upon a vote, the results were as follows: Aye: Cox, Dossenbach, Garner, Groce, Matthews, Moretz and Reives Nay: None The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously: The Board considered recommendations from the Planning Board. Planner Glen Moore told the Board the Planning Board recommended approval of the petition by Sandra Koon Plyer to rezone from Residential Mixed District to Highway Commercial District 1.04 acres of land located at 6416 Pine Forest Road. Commissioner Dossenbach moved to approve the recommendations of the Planning Board. Commissioner Reives seconded the motion. After further discussion Commissioner Dossenbach withdrew his motion. Commissioner Moretz made a motion to table the matter. Commissioner Reives seconded the motion.
