Upon returning from recess, with all members present, Commissioner Reives moved to go into closed session to discuss matters relating to the location or expansion of industries or other business in Lee County and to consult with the County Attorney and to give instructions concerning the handling of a judicial action brought by Shelly L. Amen and twelve other EMT's against Lee County. Commissioner Dossenbach seconded the motion, and upon a vote, the results were as follows: Aye: Cox, Dossenbach, Garner, Groce, Matthews, Moretz and Reives. Nay: None The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. County Manager William Cowan asked the Board to allow Emergency Services Director Warren Lee to attend the second part of the closed session discussion. Following the discussion in closed session, Commissioner Cox moved to go out of closed session. After dinner and the annual report from the Cooperative Extension Office the meeting recessed until 7:00 p.m. Upon returning at 7:00 p.m., with all members present, the meeting resumed in Courtroom # 4 at the old Lee County Courthouse.
