Planning <br />Director Trevis Averett told the Board the Planning Board had approved the rezoning <br />petition by Mark Lyczkowski to rezone from Residential Restricted District to Residential <br />Restricted 45/40 District a tract of land located at 1824 Broadway Road consisting of <br />62.17 acres. Commissioner Moretz moved to approve the recommendation of the <br />Planning Board. Commissioner Reives seconded the motion, and upon a vote, the results <br />were as follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Garner, Mansfield, Matthews, Moretz, Paschal and Reives <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />Mr. Averett told the Board the Planning Board recommended approval of the <br />amendment to the provisions of Article X, Section 4 of the Lee County Zoning Ordinance, <br />"Signs". Commissioner Reives moved to approve the recommendation of the Planning <br />Board, a copy of the amendment which is attached to these minutes and by this reference <br />made a part hereof. Division of Highways State Highway System for maintenance. After <br />much discussion Commissioner Reives moved to add Kingfisher Road, Partridge Circle, <br />Pheasant Circle and Warbler Road, all located in Quail Ridge Subdivision, to the N.C. <br />Division of Highways State Highway System for maintenance. Commissioner Cox <br />seconded the motion, and upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Garner, Mansfield, Matthews, Moretz, Paschal and Reives <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />Commissioner Reives moved for the Board to authorize the County Manager to <br />arrange a meeting with the Board of Elections to discuss the 1996 election and voting <br />machines.
