After further discussion Commissioner Cox moved approval of the following: BE IT RESOLVED the Board of Commissioners for the County of Lee as follows: SECTION 1. The Board of Commissioners shall hold a regular meeting on the first and third Mondays of each month. If a regular meeting day is a holiday on which County offices are closed, the meeting shall be held on the next,business day or such succeeding day as may be specified in the motion adjourning the immediately preceding regular meeting. SECTION 2. Regular meetings shall be held at the Commissioners' Room, 1st floor, Lee County Government Center, 106 Hillcrest Drive, Sanford, North Carolina. SECTION 3. The regular meting on the first Monday of each month will begin at 8:00 a.m. The regular meeting on the third Monday of each month will begin at 4:00 p.m. SECTION 4: A work session shall be held the second Monday of each month in the Gordon A. Wicker Community Conference Room, First Floor, Lee County Government Center, 106 Hillcrest Drive, Sanford, North Carolina, beginning at 7:30 a.m. and concluding at 9:30 a.m. SECTION 5: The County Manager is directed to cause a copy of this resolution to be posted on the courthouse bulletin board and a summary of it to be published at least ten (10) days before the first meeting to which the resolution is to apply.
