0 009 <br />BooK 16 pAu 725 <br />Commissioners and/or County Manager. <br />B) Add a new subparagraph to paragraph 3 as follows: <br />g) To apprise the full Board of Commissioners of all job <br />announcements before the media is contacted for the purpose <br />of a public announcement. <br />3. That the officers of the Board are authorized and directed to take all <br />actions and to execute all documents to carry out the provisions of this resolution. <br />Commissioner Paschal seconded the motion, and upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Garner, Mansfield, Matthews, Moretz, Paschal and Reives <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />The Board discussed a recent memo sent to all Commissioners concerning the <br />statutes authorizing appointments to the Social Service, Public Health and Mental Health <br />Boards. No action was taken but after some discussion it was decided to discuss the <br />matter further at the next work session on January 13th. <br />Commissioner Cox moved to go into closed session to discuss matters relating to <br />the location or expansion of industries or other business in Lee County. Commissioner <br />Matthews seconded the motion, and upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Garner, Mansfield, Matthews, Moretz, Paschal and Reives <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously and the Board was <br />in closed session. Following discussion in closed session Commissioner Matthews moved <br />to go out of closed session. Commissioner Moretz seconded the motion, and upon a <br />vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Garner, Mansfield, Matthews, Moretz, Paschal and Reives <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />Commissioner Matthews moved to authorize a public hearing date of January 21, <br />1997, 7:00 p.m., to hear comments concerning incentives for Frontier Spinning Mills. <br />Commissioner Cox seconded the motion, and upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />9 <br />
