On r <br />0 BOOK 16 PnIF 815 <br />Aye: Moretz and Reives <br />Nay: Cox, Garner, Mansfield, Matthews and Paschal <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been defeated by a five to two vote. Upon a <br />vote of the original motion, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Garner, Mansfield, Matthews, Moretz, Paschal and Reives <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />The Board considered a fee schedule for paramedic services for EMS. Emergency <br />Services Director Warren Lee asked the Board to consider a fee schedule for paramedic <br />services for Lee County EMS once the department completes their paramedic training. <br />He told the Board he had surveyed ten counties that currently have paramedic level <br />service to obtain proposed fees for Lee County. After some discussion Commissioner <br />Paschal moved to approve the following fees for paramedic services for Lee County EMS: <br />BLS Rate $200.00 <br />ALS Rate $250.00 <br />Mileage Charge $ 3.00 <br />ALS Treatment W/O Transport $100.00 <br />Commissioner Mansfield seconded the motion, and upon a vote, the results were as <br />follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Garner, Mansfield, Matthews, Moretz, Paschal and Reives <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />The Board considered a proposal from Central Carolina Hospital to provide <br />emergency medical services to the citizens of Lee County. Commissioner Moretz updated <br />the Board on a recent committee meeting of himself and Commissioners Garner and <br />Matthews concerning this proposal. After some discussion Commissioner Cox moved for <br />Lee County to enter into an agreement with Central Carolina Hospital to provide <br />emergency medical services to the citizens of Lee County and to work out arrangements <br />for the building site at a later date. Commissioner Moretz seconded the motion, and upon <br />a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Garner, Mansfield, Matthews, Moretz, Paschal and Reives <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />7 <br />
