04 <br />EOOK 16 u'CC 829 <br />The Board considered a grant for the Lee County Pesticide Container Recycling <br />Program. Extension Director John Hall asked the Board to accept a grant for $9,932 for <br />the Lee County Pesticide Container Recycling Program which will be used to purchase a <br />used trailer to collect these pesticide containers. Commissioner Reives moved to approve <br />the acceptance of a grant in the amount of $9,932 for the Lee County Pesticide Container <br />Recycling Program. Commissioner Cox seconded the motion, and upon a vote, the results <br />were as follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Garner, Mansfield, Matthews, Moretz, Paschal and Reives <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />The Board considered recommendations from the Planning Board. Planning <br />Director Trevis Averett told the Board the Planning Board recommended approval of the <br />petition by Lonnie Joe Simmons to rezone from Residential Agricultural District to <br />Highway Commercial District approximately 13.10 acres of land on White Hill Road. <br />Commissioner Paschal moved to approve the recommendation of the Planning Board. <br />Commissioner Reives seconded the motion, and upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Garner, Mansfield, Matthews, Moretz, Paschal and Reives <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously, <br />Mr. Averett told the Board the Planning Board recommended approval of the <br />petition by Lloyd Atkins to rezone from Residential Restricted District to Residential <br />Restricted 45/40 District 71.59 acres of land on Deep River Road. Commissioner Reives <br />moved to approve the recommendation of the Planning Board. Commissioner Paschal <br />seconded the motion, and upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Garner, Mansfield, Matthews, Moretz, Paschal and Reives <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />Mr. Averett told the Board the Planning Board recommended approval of the <br />petition by C.M. Laws to rezone from Residential Restricted District to Highway <br />Commercial Conditional Use District approximately 28,125 square feet of land on <br />McCormick Road for the location of compartmentalized storage units for individual <br />storage of residential and commercial goods. Commissioner Reives moved to accept the <br />recommendation of the Planning Board. Commissioner Matthews seconded the motion, <br />and upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Garner, Mansfield, Matthews, Moretz, Paschal and Reives <br />Nay: None <br />4 <br />
