0 nook 16 839 0 0 5 <br />Aye: Cox, Garner, Mansfield, Matthews, Moretz, Paschal and Reives <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />The Board considered various budget amendments for the Health Department. <br />Health Director Phyllis Lowry asked the Board to consider the following budget <br />amendments: <br />• budget amendment #1 for $1,504 <br />• budget amendment #2 for $1,694 <br />Money from the Piedmont HIV Health Care Consortium for <br />Benefits Advocacy and Case Management Services. Will be <br />placed in the HIV Case Management emergency services and travel/ <br />education line item. <br />• budget amendment #3 for $650 <br />Money from Wake AHEC for precepting nurse practitioner <br />students through the clinics. To be placed in the Maternal Health <br />Program travel education line item. <br />Commissioner Reives moved approval of the above budget amendments for the Health <br />Department. Commissioner Moretz seconded the motion, and upon a vote, the results <br />were as follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Garner, Mansfield, Matthews, Moretz, Paschal and Reives <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />The Board considered a budget amendment for the Health Department to repair <br />the damaged Animal Control truck. Health Director Phyllis Lowry received bids from the <br />following: <br />Bill's Body Shop $ 2,455.40 <br />G & M Collision Repair $ 2,609.76 <br />Cameron's Body Shop $ 2,714.16 <br />She asked the Board to approve the release of the insurance money received from two <br />claims ($1,330.57 and $275.92) to repair the Animal Control truck which was wrecked in <br />January, 1997. Commissioner Cox moved to approve the release of insurance claims to <br />repair the Animal Control truck. Commissioner Reives seconded the motion, and upon a <br />vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Garner, Mansfield, Matthews, Moretz, Paschal and Reives <br />Nay: None <br />3 <br />
