HM 16 Face 852 ® 003 <br />Aye: Cox, Garner, Mansfield, Matthews, Moretz, Paschal and <br />Reives <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />The Board considered a tabled rezoning request from <br />Commissioner Doug Moretz to rezone 10.5 acres of land on Brown Road <br />from Residential Agricultural District to Light Industrial District. This <br />item was tabled at a previous meeting in November, 1996. <br />Commissioner Reives moved to take the above item off the table for <br />consideration. Commissioner Paschal seconded the motion, and upon a <br />vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Garner, Mansfield, Matthews, Moretz, Paschal and <br />Reives <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />Commissioner Moretz asked to abstain from voting due to a personal <br />interest in the matter. Commissioner Matthews moved to allow <br />Commissioner Moretz to abstain from voting. Commissioner Reives <br />seconded the motion, and upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Garner, Mansfield, Matthews, Moretz, Paschal and <br />Reives <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />After much discussion Commissioner Paschal moved to deny the request <br />of Commissioner Moretz to rezone 10.5 acres on Brown Road. <br />Commissioner Garner seconded the motion, and upon a vote, the results <br />were as follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Garner, Mansfield, Matthews and Paschal <br />Nay: Reives <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted by a five to one <br />vote. <br />Commissioner Cox moved to add an item to the agenda concerning <br />a recent bill presented in the Senate pertaining to election of Lee County <br />3 <br />
