sfloK 16 FAu 651 Commissioner Cox moved to approve the consent agenda as printed, with the above deletion, which consisted of the following items: • minutes of the April 15, 1997 special meeting • minutes of the April 21, 1997 regular meeting • minutes of the April 21, 1997 closed session • proclamation declaring June 20-22, 1997 as "Railroad Heritage Days in Lee County" • supplemental check to Emergency Management • CBA Program Agreement revision for Youth and Adult Services • pre-application request for Community Based Alternatives Court Psychologist • CBA Program Agreement for Youth Services for FY 1997-98 • Home & Community Care Block Grants proposal and contracts for Aging Services • purchase of two new lift vans for the County of Lee Transit System • resolution to Sanford-Lee County Regional Airport Authority commending them for saving the County money and their excellent work • budget amendment # 05/05/97/24 (copy attached and made a part hereof) • proclamation proclaiming the week of May 4-10, 1997 as National Community Action Week • authorization to write off delinquent 1986 taxes (copy attached and made a part hereof) Commissioner Paschal seconded the motion, and upon a vote, the results were as follows: Aye: Cox, Garner, Mansfield, Matthews, Moretz, Paschal and Reives Nay: None The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. Commissioner Mansfield presented petitions to the Board with over 530 signatures of individuals requesting the "893° Lillington exchange be included in local calls for citizens of Sanford, Broadway and Lee County. He moved the petitions be forwarded to the North Carolina Utility Commission along with a request for this exchange to be included in local calls for all citizens in Lee County.
