sfloK 16 FAu 651 <br />Commissioner Cox moved to approve the consent agenda as <br />printed, with the above deletion, which consisted of the following items: <br />• minutes of the April 15, 1997 special meeting <br />• minutes of the April 21, 1997 regular meeting <br />• minutes of the April 21, 1997 closed session <br />• proclamation declaring June 20-22, 1997 as "Railroad <br />Heritage Days in Lee County" <br />• supplemental check to Emergency Management <br />• CBA Program Agreement revision for Youth and Adult <br />Services <br />• pre-application request for Community Based Alternatives <br />Court Psychologist <br />• CBA Program Agreement for Youth Services for FY <br />1997-98 <br />• Home & Community Care Block Grants proposal and <br />contracts for Aging Services <br />• purchase of two new lift vans for the County of Lee <br />Transit System <br />• resolution to Sanford-Lee County Regional Airport <br />Authority commending them for saving the County money <br />and their excellent work <br />• budget amendment # 05/05/97/24 (copy attached and <br />made a part hereof) <br />• proclamation proclaiming the week of May 4-10, 1997 as <br />National Community Action Week <br />• authorization to write off delinquent 1986 taxes (copy <br />attached and made a part hereof) <br />Commissioner Paschal seconded the motion, and upon a vote, the <br />results were as follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Garner, Mansfield, Matthews, Moretz, Paschal and <br />Reives <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />Commissioner Mansfield presented petitions to the Board with over <br />530 signatures of individuals requesting the "893° Lillington exchange be <br />included in local calls for citizens of Sanford, Broadway and Lee County. <br />He moved the petitions be forwarded to the North Carolina Utility <br />Commission along with a request for this exchange to be included in <br />local calls for all citizens in Lee County.
