KooB 16 Fni 528® <br />• tax releases and refunds for April, 1997 (copy attached and <br />made a part hereof) <br />• budget amendment # 05/19/97/25 (copy attached and <br />made a part hereof) <br />• items to be declared surplus for public auction <br />• legislation concerning enactment of legislation for the <br />purpose of affording tax relief to turkey growers in Union <br />County <br />• annual renewal contract for audit services with Dixon, <br />Odom & Co., L.L.P. <br />• budget amendment # 05/19/97/26 (copy attached and <br />made a part hereof) <br />• purchase order for computer equipment for E-911 <br />Addressing Project <br />• donations from local businesses and civic organizations to <br />the Health Department <br />Commissioner Cox seconded the motion, and upon a vote, the results <br />were as follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Garner, Mansfield, Matthews, Moretz, Paschal and <br />Reives <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />The Board considered a purchase order to cover the cost of <br />repair to a COLTS vehicle that was wrecked in April. Transportation <br />Coordinator Ron Ruffner answered questions of the Board. After some <br />discussion, Commissioner Cox moved to approve a purchase order to <br />Craig's Body Shop, in the amount of $5,097, to cover repairs to COLTS <br />vehicle # AG17. Commissioner Matthews seconded the motion, and <br />upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Garner, Mansfield, Matthews, Moretz, Paschal and <br />Reives <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />The Board considered the FY 1997/98 pay plan for Lee-Harnett <br />Mental Health. After some discussion, Commissioner Reives moved to <br />approve the FY 1997/98 pay plan for Lee-Harnett Mental Health. <br />Commissioner Cox seconded the motion, and upon a vote, the results <br />were as follows: <br />07 <br />2 <br />
