Commissioner Reives seconded the <br />motion, and upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Garner, Mansfield, Matthews, Moretz, Paschal and <br />Reives <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted <br />unanimously. <br />Commissioner Cox moved to open joint public hearings with <br />members of the Lee County Planning Board. Commissioner Matthews <br />seconded the motion, and upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Garner, Mansfield, Matthews, Moretz, Paschal and <br />Reives <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted <br />unanimously. <br />Mrs. Althea Thompson, Planner, outlined for the Boards the <br />first petition for Clarence L. Hubbard, Sr. to rezone from Residential <br />Restricted District to Residential Agricultural District 10.47 acres of <br />land at 4212 Cox Mill Road. <br />Mr. Hubbard of 4206 Cox Mill Road spoke in favor of the <br />rezoning petition. <br />No one spoke in opposition to the request. <br />Mrs. Thompson presented the second petition for John C. <br />Daniel, III to rezone from Residential Agricultural District to Highway <br />Commercial District approximately 6 acres of land at 2514 Jefferson <br />Davis Highway. <br />Mr. John Daniel of 2250 Cape Jasmine Drive spoke in favor of <br />the rezoning petition. <br />Mr. Fred Buchanan of 2520 Jefferson Davis Highway <br />questioned what Mr. Daniel was going to place on the proposed site. <br />10 <br />
