Commissioner Cox seconded the motion, and <br />upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Garner, Mansfield, Matthews, Moretz, Paschal and Reives <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />The Board considered a request from the Committee of 100 concerning a <br />deceleration lane on US Highway #1 South. Commissioner Matthews moved that a letter <br />be submitted to the Department of Transportation requesting a study be completed for a <br />possible installation of a deceleration lane on US Highway #1 South, at the location of the <br />new driving range, to access Buffalo Church Road. Commissioner Cox seconded the <br />motion, and upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Gamer, Mansfield, Matthews, Moretz, Paschal and Reives <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />The Board took a five minute recess at this time. Upon returning from recess, <br />with all members present, the meeting resumed. <br />Commissioner Cox moved to go into the Lee County Water District No. I <br />meeting. Commissioner Matthews seconded the motion, and upon a vote, the results were <br />as follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Garner, Mansfield, Matthews, Moretz, Paschal and Reives <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously and the Board was <br />in the Water and Sewer District meeting. Upon completing business, Commissioner Cox <br />moved to go out of the Water and Sewer District meeting.
