003 <br />aoo{ 17 28 <br />The Vice Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />Mr. Averett told the Board the Planning Board recommended approval of the final <br />plat for Nole Subdivision Phase I. Commissioner Reives moved to approve the <br />recommendation of the Planning Board. Commissioner Mansfield seconded the motion, <br />and upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Mansfield, Matthews, Moretz, Paschal and Reives <br />Nay: None <br />The Vice Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />The Board considered a lease agreement between Lee County Parks and <br />Recreation and Deep River/Northview Optimist Club for use of their facility. Parks and <br />Recreation Superintendent John Payne presented for consideration a lease agreement <br />between Lee County Parks and Recreation and Deep River/Northview Optimist for use of <br />their facility at Northview to conduct baseball programs and provision for maintenance of <br />this facility. After some discussion, Commissioner Matthews moved to approve the lease <br />agreement as presented. Commissioner Paschal seconded the motion, and upon a vote, <br />the results were as follows: <br />Chairman Garner joined the meeting during discussion of this matter but asked the Vice <br />Chairman to continue presiding. <br />Aye: Cox, Garner, Mansfield, Matthews, Moretz, Paschal and Reives <br />Nay: None <br />The Vice Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />The Board considered Parks and Recreation's uses of new county schools and the <br />cost impact at Deep River and Southwest schools. After some discussion, Commissioner <br />Garner moved to approve the recommendation presented by the Parks and Recreation <br />Commission to revise recreation sites at the new Deep River and Southwest schools <br />currently under construction. Commissioner Paschal seconded the motion, and upon a <br />vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Garner, Mansfield, Matthews, Moretz, Paschal and Reives <br />Nay: None <br />The Vice Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />The Board considered an offer from the Boy's and Girl's Club to lease property. <br />County Attorney K. R. Hoyle told the Board he had prepared a draft lease for the Boy's <br />and Girl's Clubs of Sanford/Lee County, Inc. for a tract of land in O.T. Sloan Park.
