00"r <br />BOOK 1~ PACE 70 <br />rezone 7.59 acres of land at 3015 Beechtree Drive for an addition to his wholesale florist <br />business. <br />Mr. Clyde Garner of 5035 Lake Willett Road spoke in favor of the rezoning <br />request. <br />No one spoke in opposition to the request. <br />Planner Althea Thompson outlined the second rezoning request by Ms. Beth <br />Brown Degon to rezone 2.90 acres of land at 2700 Jefferson Davis Highway for the sale <br />of water gardens and equipment, water plants, shrubbery, and statuary. <br />Ms. Beth Brown Degon of 2700 Jefferson Davis Highway spoke in favor of the <br />rezoning request. <br />No one spoke in opposition to the request. <br />Commissioner Moretz moved to go out of the joint public hearings. <br />Commissioner Cox seconded the motion, and upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Garner, Mansfield, Matthews, Moretz, Paschal and Reives <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />Chairman Garner called the closed session back to order and business continued. <br />After discussion in closed session, Commissioner Reives moved to go out of closed <br />session. Commissioner Matthews seconded the motion, and upon a vote, the results were <br />as follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Garner, Mansfield, Matthews, Moretz and Reives <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously and the Board was <br />once again in open session. <br />Commissioner Reives moved to approve an Agreement for the Grant of Lee <br />County Funds to Frontier Spinning Mills, a copy of which is attached to these minutes and <br />by this reference made a part hereof. Commissioner Cox seconded the motion, and upon a <br />vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Garner, Mansfield, Matthews, Moretz and Reives <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />7 <br />
