The Planning Board was asked to bring suggestions <br />back to the Board of Commissioners at a later date. <br />Commissioner Cox moved to recess the regular meeting of the Board of <br />Commissioners and go into the Lee County Water and Sewer District No. 1. <br />Commissioner Matthews seconded the motion, and approve a vote, the results were as <br />follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Garner, Mansfield, Matthews, Moretz, Paschal and Reives <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously and the Board was <br />in the Water and Sewer District No. 1 meeting. After completion of business in the Water <br />and Sewer District, Commissioner Cox moved to go out of the Water District meeting. <br />Commissioner Matthews seconded the motion, and upon a vote, the results were as <br />follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Garner, Mansfield, Matthews, Moretz, Paschal and Reives <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />Commissioner Cox moved to go into closed session to 1) consider the conditions <br />of initial employment of a prospective employee of the Tax Department and 2) consult <br />with the County Attorney concerning the judicial action brought by the Lee County Board <br />of Education against the Lee County Board of Commissioners. Commissioner Moretz <br />seconded the motion, and upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Garner, Mansfield, Matthews, Moretz, Paschal and Reives <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously and the Board was <br />in closed session. After some discussion took place in closed session the Board recessed <br />until 7:00 p.m. <br />Upon returning at 7:00 p.m. with all members present except Commissioner <br />Paschal, the meeting resumed. Chairman Garner called the meeting to order and opened <br />the public hearing for comments concerning incentives for an expansion project at Frontier <br />Spinning Mills. <br />No one spoke for or against the incentives for Frontier Spinning Mills. <br />Chairman Garner opened the joint public hearings with the Planning Board. <br />Planner Cassandra' Hopkins outlined the first rezoning petition by Mr. Clyde Garner to <br />6 <br />
