Commissioner Cox moved to recess the regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners and go into the Lee County Water and Sewer District No. 1. Commissioner Matthews seconded the motion, and approve a vote, the results were as follows: Aye: Cox, Garner, Mansfield, Matthews, Moretz, Paschal and Reives Nay: None The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously and the Board was in the Water and Sewer District No. 1 meeting. After completion of business in the Water and Sewer District, Commissioner Cox moved to go out of the Water District meeting. Commissioner Cox moved to go into closed session to 1) consider the conditions of initial employment of a prospective employee of the Tax Department and 2) consult with the County Attorney concerning the judicial action brought by the Lee County Board of Education against the Lee County Board of Commissioners. After some discussion took place in closed session the Board recessed until 7:00 p.m. Upon returning at 7:00 p.m. with all members present except Commissioner Paschal, the meeting resumed. Chairman Garner called the meeting to order and opened the public hearing for comments concerning incentives for an expansion project at Frontier Spinning Mills.
