Commissioner Cox moved approval of the following Ordinance to Amend <br />the Lee County Watershed Protection Ordinance: <br />BE IT ORDAINED, by the Board of Commissioners of Lee County, North Carolina that <br />the Watershed Protection Ordinance of Lee County, North Carolina be, and it hereby is, <br />amended as follows: <br />Section 1. That Section 601. Definitions (O) Sedimentation Control Permit be <br />amended as described hereafter: <br />a. In Definition O, Sedimentation Control Permit, insert the word "Erosion" <br />after the word Sedimentation such that the sentence will read: <br />"Sedimentation and Erosion Control Permit" <br />Section 2. That Section 203.(B)(2) (a & b) be amended to include the word "Erosion" <br />to read as follows: <br />"...which require a Sedimentation and Erosion Control Permit..." <br />Change all references to Sedimentation Control Permits in the ordinance to reflect <br />statewide terminology s follows: <br />"Sedimentation and Erosion Control Permit" <br />Section 3. That Section 203. (C), (E) and (G)(2), (c & d) be amended by deleting the <br />following text: <br />"or do not use for storm drainage purposes..." <br />Section 4. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after the date of its <br />adoption. <br />Commissioner Matthews seconded the motion, and upon a vote, the results were as <br />follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Garner, Mansfield, Matthews, Moretz, Paschal and Reives <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />Ms. Thompson outlined the rezoning petition by Charles Brown to rezone from <br />Residential Mixed (RM) District to Residential Mixed 45/40 (RM 45/40) District 2.22 <br />acres of land at 224 Country Estates Drive. She stated the Planning Board recommended <br />approval of this rezoning petition. Commissioner Mansfield moved to approve the <br />3 <br />
