aoo~ 17 ~r,ei 152 ~ ~ 8 <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />The Board considered a matter concerning a vote taken earlier on mobile homes <br />constructed prior to July 1, 1976. Commissioner Reives asked the Board to consider <br />criteria on electrical wiring, heating furnace, and exterior appearance of older mobile <br />homes. Commissioner Reives moved to instruct the Planning Department to conduct <br />research on any possible ways of certifying pre-1976 mobile homes for code compliance <br />with the North Carolina Building Code and contact The Department of Housing and <br />Urban Development (HUD) to ascertain if there is any way that an inspection could be <br />done to certify the safety of these homes. Commissioner Matthews seconded the motion, <br />and upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Gamer, Mansfield, Matthews, Moretz, Paschal and Reives <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />Commissioner Paschal moved to go into the Lee County Water and Sewer District <br />No. 1 meeting. Commissioner Moretz seconded the motion, and upon a vote, the results <br />were as follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Garner, Mansfield, Matthews, Moretz, Paschal and Reives <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously and the Board was <br />in the Water and Sewer District No. 1 meeting. After completing business in the Water <br />District, Commissioner Moretz moved to adjourn the meeting. Commissioner Cox <br />seconded the motion, and upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Garner, Mansfield, Matthews, Moretz, Paschal and Reives <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously and the meeting <br />adjourned. <br />F.
