Eakes to <br />rezone from Residential Restricted District to Residential Restricted 35/30 District 9.91 <br />acres of land at 8024 Eakes Road. The following individual spoke in favor of the rezoning <br />request: <br />Dowell Eakes, 8024 Eakes Road <br />The following individuals spoke in opposition or had concerns with the request: <br />Charles Kunkel, 7917 Bob White Lane, President of the Quail Ridge <br />Homeowners' Association <br />Charles Bryant, 5831 Quail Ridge Drive <br />Greg Oldham, Morning Dove Drive <br />Jennie Lynch, Morning Dove Drive <br />Planner Althea Thompson outlined the second rezoning petition by Dowell G. <br />Eakes to rezone from Residential Restricted District to Residential Restricted 45/40 <br />District approximately 5.12 acres of land of the W. E. Stanley Subdivision located on <br />Swann Station Road. The following individual spoke in favor of the rezoning request: <br />Dowell Eakes, 8024 Eakes Road <br />No one spoke in opposition to the request. <br />The Lee County Board of Commissioners recessed for a short time while the Lee <br />County Planning Board deliberated on the extra-territorial planning jurisdiction that has <br />been reclaimed by Lee County. <br />After deliberation, Community Development Director Reggie Scales presented the <br />recommendation of the Planning Board to approve that portion of the City of Sanford's <br />extra-territorial planning jurisdiction (ETJ) that has been reclaimed by Lee County with <br />the following amendments: <br />9 <br />
