The following individuals had questions/comments concerning the amendments: Gary Wicker, 1620 Brookcliff Road Judy Elkins, 4311 Cox Road Lester McKoy, Tramway Road Beth Cox, St. Andrews Church Road Jack Campbell, Broadway Road Jimmy Coggin, Tramway Road Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Hearn, 1658 Amos Bridges Road Planner Althea Thompson outlined the rezoning petition by Dowell G. Eakes to rezone from Residential Restricted District to Residential Restricted 35/30 District 9.91 acres of land at 8024 Eakes Road. The following individual spoke in favor of the rezoning request: Dowell Eakes, 8024 Eakes Road The following individuals spoke in opposition or had concerns with the request: Charles Kunkel, 7917 Bob White Lane, President of the Quail Ridge Homeowners' Association Charles Bryant, 5831 Quail Ridge Drive Greg Oldham, Morning Dove Drive Jennie Lynch, Morning Dove Drive Planner Althea Thompson outlined the second rezoning petition by Dowell G. Eakes to rezone from Residential Restricted District to Residential Restricted 45/40 District approximately 5.12 acres of land of the W. E. Stanley Subdivision located on Swann Station Road. The following individual spoke in favor of the rezoning request: Dowell Eakes, 8024 Eakes Road No one spoke in opposition to the request. The Lee County Board of Commissioners recessed for a short time while the Lee County Planning Board deliberated on the extra-territorial planning jurisdiction that has been reclaimed by Lee County. After deliberation, Community Development Director Reggie Scales presented the recommendation of the Planning Board to approve that portion of the City of Sanford's extra-territorial planning jurisdiction (ETJ) that has been reclaimed by Lee County with the following amendments: 9
