CEO <br />iioos 1'7 i8; <br />Aye: Cox, Garner, Mansfield, Matthews, Moretz, Paschal and Reives <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairperson ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />The meeting recessed until 7:00 p.m. Upon returning at 7:00 p.m., with all <br />members present except Commissioner Moretz, the meeting resumed. <br />Chairperson Matthews called the public hearings to order. The Board heard <br />comments from the general public concerning the naming of private roads as <br />related to the E-911 addressing project. The following individuals spoke in <br />reference to concerns they had pertaining to the naming of private roads: <br />Scott Krieger, 7843 White Hill Road <br />Nancy Tuck, 8008 S. Plank Road <br />Ken Gooding, 4620 Greenwood Road <br />Judy Marsh, 7468 White Hill Road <br />Wendell Johnson, 7120 Center Church Road <br />Roy Hall, 2836 Kentrywood Farm Road <br />Planner Althea Thompson outlined for the Commissioners and Planning <br />Board members a rezoning petition by Larry Wilder, for Clyde Patterson, to rezone <br />land at 6226 Zion Church Road. <br />Mr. Larry Wilder of 6226 Zion Church Road and Mr. Gerald Womble of 4900 <br />Farrell Road spoke in favor of the rezoning request. <br />No one spoke in opposition to the request. <br />Assistant Planning Director Trevis Averett outlined for the Boards proposed <br />amendments to the Lee County's Telecommunication Tower Ordinance. The <br />following individuals made comments in reference to the proposed amendments: <br />Dr. David Fisher, 1630 Crepe Myrtle Drive <br />Ms. Teresa Bryant, Attorney representing Bell South Mobility <br />Social Services Director Diane Lamb had advertised for a public hearing <br />concerning the Work First Plan for 1998-2000 for this date and time. <br />No one spoke for or against the proposed Plan. <br />A public hearing advertising a vacancy on the Sanford Planning Board had <br />been advertised for this date and time. According to GS 160A-362, the person <br />selected to serve as an ETJ representative must reside in the ETJ area and shall <br />9 <br />
