Microwave - Any antenna, excluding any supporting structure, designed to <br />send or receive signals from any microwave transmitter or receiver. <br />Architecturally Integrated Tower - A tower which is adequately disguised by the <br />structure on which the antenna is located so as to disguise or camouflage the tower in <br />such a manner so that the structure housing the tower takes on the appearance of a <br />structure other than a telecommunication tower. Additionally, the design and materials <br />used on the structure and its exterior materials must blend harmoniously with the buildings <br />and use of the host sight. <br />Off-Site - For the purposes of regulating the location of telecommunication towers as <br />described in this section, off-site location shall mean any site not owned or leased by the <br />owner or operator of the telecommunications tower; however, this definition shall not <br />include any property contiguous to the property on which a telecommunications tower is <br />physically located if said property is: <br />1) owned or leased by the owner or operator of the telecommunications tower, or <br />directly associated with the operation maintenance or ownership of the tower, or <br />2) owned by the lessor of the property on which the telecommunications tower is <br />located. <br />Tower. Telecommunications - A structure designed to support antennas used for <br />transmitting or receiving commercial telephone communications and/or commercial <br />telecommunications (Amateur or ham radio towers are not included in this definition.) <br />Tower. Radio and TV Telecommunication Transmission - A structure of wires, poles, <br />rods, reflecting disks, or similar devices used for transmitting or receiving television or <br />radio signals, excluding satellite dish antennas. <br />Concealed Telecommunication Towers - Telecommunication towers and associated <br />equipment, which are totally concealed within a building or structure, so that they are <br />architecturally indiscernible, shall not be considered towers for transmitting and receiving <br />electronic signals. <br />D. Minimum Lot Area <br />Minimum Lot size shall comply with the minimum requirements of the Lee County <br />Subdivision Regulations and Article VIII of this ordinance.
