0 aoo< 17 1,r„[ 2 31 <br />• The Chairperson ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />Mr. Satterfield told the Board that the Planning Board recommended approval <br />of the petition by Cecil C. Cameron, agent for Mary Craig, Esther Wicker and Warren <br />Campbell, to rezone 40,000 square feet (.92 acres) of land at 2401 Broadway Road. <br />Commissioner Garner moved to approve the recommendation of the Planning Board. <br />Commissioner Moretz seconded the motion, and upon a vote, the results were as <br />follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Garner, Mansfield, Matthews, Moretz, Paschal and Reives <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairperson ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />Mr. Satterfield told the Board that the Planning Board recommended approval <br />of the petition by Lee P. Thomas to rezone 9.89 acres of land at 705 Bailey Thomas <br />Road. Commissioner Garner moved to approve the recommendation of the Planning <br />Board. Commissioner Paschal seconded the motion, and upon a vote, the results were <br />as follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Garner, Mansfield, Matthews, Moretz, Paschal and Reives <br />Nay: None <br />• The Chairperson ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />The Board considered a request from County Manager William Cowan to <br />submit a Parks and Recreation Grant application to fund the Lee County Schools' <br />parks. After some discussion, Commissioner Garner moved for the County Manager to <br />submit a Parks and Recreation Grant application to the Parks & Recreation (PARTF) <br />Trust Fund for $250,000 from the State to fund school parks, with a local match of <br />$250,000, and authorize the Chairperson to execute the application. Commissioner <br />Paschal seconded the motion, and upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Garner, Mansfield, Matthews, Moretz, Paschal and Reives <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairperson ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />There being no further business to come before the Board, Commissioner Cox <br />moved to adjourn the meeting. Commissioner Paschal seconded the motion, and upon <br />a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Garner, Mansfield, Matthews, Moretz, Paschal and Reives <br />Nay: None <br />• <br />12 <br />12 <br />
