Cameron, agent for Mary <br />Craig, Esther Wicker and Warren Campbell, to rezone 40,000 square feet (92 acres) of <br />land from Residential Agricultural District to Residential Agricultural 50/40 District at <br />2401 Broadway Road. <br />Mr. Cecil Cameron of 1331 Avents Ferry Road spoke in favor of the rezoning <br />petition. <br />No one spoke in opposition to the rezoning petition. <br />Mrs. Thompson outlined the petition by Lee P. Thomas to rezone from <br />Residential Agricultural District to Residential Agricultural 50/40 District 9.89 acres of <br />land at 705 Bailey Thomas Road. <br />Mr. Lee P. Thomas of 6033 Ponderosa Road spoke in favor of the rezoning <br />petition. <br />No one spoke in opposition to the request. <br />Mrs. Thompson outlined the final petition by C. F. and Sarah Hearn to rezone <br />from Residential Mixed District to Highway Commercial District approximately 2 acres <br />of land at 1501 Colon Road. <br />S Mr. C. F. Hearn of 658 Amos Bridges Road spoke in favor of the rezoning <br />petition. <br />No one spoke in opposition to the request. <br />The Planning Board and Commissioners heard comments from individuals <br />concerning the naming of private roads as related to the E-91 I addressing project. The <br />following individuals spoke: <br />Gilbert Ellis 701 Steel Bridge Road <br />Sandra Cox 1813 Chaffin Street <br />Karen Floryanzia 217 Tempting Church Road <br />Nancy Tuck 408 S. Plank Road <br />A public hearing was scheduled to give the public the opportunity to speak to <br />the Board concerning budget matters for FY 1998-99. <br />No one spoke concerning budget matters. <br />Chairperson Matthews announced the Board would recess while Planning <br />Board members deliberated and made recommendations concerning the earlier rezoning <br />• petitions. <br />10 <br />
