Commissioner Garner made a motion to present a resolution for Dr. John Dotterer for his sixty years of service to Sanford and Lee County. Commissioner Matthews seconded the motion, and upon a vote, the results were as follows: Aye: Cox, Garner, Mansfield, Matthews, Moretz, Paschal and Reives Nay: None The Chairperson ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. Commissioner Reives discussed with the Board a letter from the State Department of Justice concerning recent action taken by the Lee County Board of Education on redistricting the attendance areas for schools in Lee County. No action was taken on the matter. Commissioner Moretz moved to go into closed session to discuss matters relating to the location of an industry in Lee County.
