0 BOOK 17 I'r,Gf 216 0 010 6 <br />The Board considered recommendations for the naming of new private roads in <br />Lee County. E-911 Coordinator Don Kovasckitz presented to the Board a list of <br />recommended names of new private roads considered at the last public hearing. It was <br />agreed by the Board that if no compromise between property owners could be reached <br />on "tabled" road names, Mr. Kovasckitz would make the final decision. Commissioner <br />Garner moved that the recommended road names be approved for new private roads, a <br />copy of which is attached to these minutes, and by this reference made a part hereof. <br />Commissioner Reives seconded the motion, and upon a vote, the results were as <br />follows: <br />Aye'. Cox, Garner, Mansfield, Matthews, Moretz, Paschal and Reives <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairperson ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />The Board considered recommendations from the Planning Board on recent <br />rezoning matters. Planner Althea Thompson told the Board the Planning Board <br />recommended approval of the rezoning petition by C. F. Hearn to rezone from <br />Residential Mixed District to Highway Commercial District approximately 2.00 acres of <br />land located at 1501 Colon Road. Commissioner Garner moved to approve the <br />recommendation of the Planning Board. Commissioner Mansfield seconded the <br />motion, and upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Garner, Mansfield, Matthews, Moretz, Paschal and Reives <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairperson ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />Ms. Thompson told the Board the Planning Board recommended approval of <br />the Final Plat for Farmstead 11, owned by J. Clyde Garner. Commissioner Matthews <br />moved to approve the recommendation of the Planning Board. Commissioner Reives <br />seconded the motion, and upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Garner, Mansfield, Matthews, Moretz, Paschal and Reives <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairperson ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />Ms. Thompson told the Board the Planning Board recommended approval of a <br />request to add Wild Forest Road off Valley Road to the Department of Transportation <br />Secondary Road System.
