Amend Article X, Signs, Section 5, Sign Regulations Applicable to <br />Residential Districts by adding "schools", and deleting the size requirement in Item (e)(1) <br />and replacing it with the following: <br />1. Churches, community recreation <br />centers, golf courses, country <br />clubs, parks, schools, police, <br />and fire stations, and similar <br />permitted uses <br />One (1) per each street front plus <br />one (1) per each building on <br />premises not to exceed fifty-eight <br />(58) syuare feet <br />Section 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after the <br />date of its adoption. <br />Commissioner Cox seconded the motion, and upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Garner, Mansfield, Matthews, Paschal and Reives <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairperson ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />The Board considered amendment XIII, Section 3(a) for a Temporary Occupancy <br />Permit. Commissioner Garner moved approval of the following: <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING <br />THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF <br />LEE COUNTY. NORTH CAROLINA <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of Lee County, North <br />Carolina, that the Zoning Ordinance of Lee County, North Carolina be, and it hereby is, <br />amended as follows: <br />Section 1. Amend Article XIII, Section 3, Temporary Occupancy Permit for <br />Class A, Class AA, Class B, Class BB, and Class C Manufactured Homes by adding a new <br />provision as follows: <br />"(e) An additional ten (10) working days may be permitted when the <br />occupants of the manufactured home cannot complete the foundation <br />enclosure within the required sixty (60) day period due to bad weather." <br />0~)6 <br />4 <br />
