BOOK 17 MF 303 <br />Commissioner Mansfield seconded the motion, and upon a vote, the results were as <br />follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Garner, Mansfield, Matthews, Moretz, Paschal and Reives <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairperson ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />Lee County Schools' Finance Officer Susan Little presented to the Board a <br />quarterly report on Board of Education financial matters. Board members had various <br />questions, which Ms. Little answered. <br />The Board considered proposed hunting regulations for Lee County. Don Buie, <br />Chairman of the Hunting Study Committee told the Board the Committee had met again <br />and had taken into account comments made at the April 18, 1998 public hearing. After <br />some discussion, Commissioner Moretz moved to approve "Draft No. 2" as proposed by <br />the Hunting Study Committee, a copy of which is attached to these minutes and by this <br />reference made a part hereof. Commissioner Garner seconded the motion, and upon a <br />vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Garner, Mansfield, Matthews, Moretz, Paschal and Reives <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairperson ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />The Board considered recommendations for the naming of new private roads in <br />Lee County. Discussion took place concerning the naming of Watchacow Lane off <br />Thomas Road. E-911 Coordinator Don Kovasckitz discussed with the Board various <br />names submitted for this road. After some discussion, Commissioner Moretz moved to <br />accept the name of Watchacow Lane. Commissioner Reives seconded the motion, and <br />upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Garner, Mansfield, Matthews, Moretz, Paschal and Reives <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairperson ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />Commissioner Cox moved to approve recommendations made by the Planning Board for <br />the naming of new private roads in Lee County, a copy of which is attached to these <br />minutes and by this reference made a part hereof. Commissioner Moretz seconded the <br />motion, and upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Garner, Mansfield, Matthews, Moretz, Paschal and Reives <br />Nay: None <br />2 <br />
