County Manager John Crumpton discussed with the Board items discussed recently at the <br />Commissioner's Planning Retreat. Chairman Shook asked Commissioner Womack to work on items <br />discussed concerning the Chamber and economic development matters. Commissioner Parks was <br />asked to work on items pertaining to school issues. County Manager John Crumpton was asked to <br />work on interlocal agreements and financial /saving opportunities. <br />Assistant County Manager /Finance Director Lisa Minter presented the Monthly Financial Report <br />for month ending January 2011 and Sales Tax Report. No action was taken. <br />County Manager John Crumpton presented his Monthly Report to the Board on the following <br />matters: <br />• Request for Qualifications for Health Insurance Broker /Agent services; <br />• Jail bids for natural light and padded cell projects, <br />• Loss of 911 funding from the State; <br />• Chamber of Commerce — Community Vision Initiative; <br />• Animal Control enforcement; <br />• Animal Control Ordinance revisions /public hearings; <br />• San -Lee Dam renovations; <br />• FY 2011 -12 budget process; <br />• 5 -Year Capital Improvement Plan (CIP) development, and <br />• Upcoming events /meetings for February — May 2011 <br />No action was taken on the Manager's Report. <br />With no further business to come before the Board, Commissioner Reives moved to adjourn the <br />meeting. Upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Hayes, Oldham, Parks, Paschal, Reives, Shook, and Womack <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously and the meeting <br />adjourned at 8:10 p.m. <br />i <br />ATTEST: <br />ViVda A.
