— <br />EE COUNTY <br />Committed Today for a Better Tomorrow <br />REGULAR MEETING <br />OF THE <br />LEE COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />1 106 HILLCREST DRIVE <br />SANFORD, NORTH CAROLINA 27330 <br />FEBRUARY 7, 2011 <br />The regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners for the County of Lee, State of North <br />Carolina, convened at 3 p.m. in the Commissioners' Room, Lee County Government Center, 106 <br />Hillcrest Drive, Sanford, North Carolina, on said date. Commissioners present were Richard B. Hayes, <br />Larry "Doc" Oldham, Charlie T. Parks, Nathan E. Paschal, Robert T. Reives, Linda A. Shook, and <br />James K. Womack, Jr. <br />Chairman Shook called the meeting to order and the following business was transacted: <br />Commissioner Hayes delivered the invocation. <br />The pledge of allegiance was recited. <br />The Board considered additions /changes to the Agenda. County Manager John Crumpton <br />asked the Board to pull an item on Old Business in reference to a late tax listing for Brick Capital and <br />an item on New Business to use stimulus money for Social Service positions. With no other changes <br />made, Commissioner Parks moved to approve the Agenda as amended. Upon a vote, the results were <br />as follows: <br />Aye: Hayes, Oldham, Parks, Paschal, Reives, Shook, and Womack <br />Nay: None <br />items: <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />Commissioner Oldham moved to approve the Consent Agenda which consisted of the following <br />• Minutes from the January 13, 2011 informational meeting held at Greenwood <br />Elementary School; <br />• Minutes from the January 18, 2011 regular meeting; <br />• Minutes from the January 18, 2011 closed session meeting, <br />• Minutes from the January 31, 2011 adjourned regular meeting, <br />• Donation of two tables, valued at $395 each, to the Lee County Library from the Lee <br />County Friends of the Library; <br />• Annual Audit Contract with Martin Starnes & Associates (copy attached), and <br />
